This series of decorative art clocks use construction methods and details found in my table lamp series. All are based on a radial design and feature a lathe turned outer ring. Many have a parquetry dial face with an outer "minute ring" made of dark and light woods. Arts and crafts clocks typically feature quarter sawn white oak. The others feature curly maple and/or maple burl.
All clocks use a Seiko quartz movement. A battery is included.

Many of the clocks have a metal finish made by putting thin metal leaf, usually copper, brass or silver, over the base wood. The metal leaf is then given a patina by the use of various chemical solutions.
