This series of decorative art clocks use construction methods and details found in my table lamp series. All are based on a radial design and feature a lathe turned outer frame ring. This frame ring features 12 incised hour marks in two sizes. These incised marks are usually contrasted by ebonizing or use of metal leaf. These clocks can have a parquetry dial face with an outer "minute ring" made of dark and light woods. A simpler look is achieved with a radial face, either with or without accent inlay between the 12 sections of the face. These sections are typically curly maple, or birds-eye maple All clocks use a Seiko quartz movement. A battery is included.
