This shelf unit was built to display the client's taxidermy and collection of antique books. The fretwork found on the central pilasters mirror the same pattern found on the corner of the client's antique desk.
One of the shelf units opens on a pivot hinge to allow access to a storage closet behind. All shelves are moveable and supported using the older method of adjustable wood battens rather than modern shelf pins.
